The 2012 Adreno Big 5 Online spearfishing competition was a huge success, with over 50 divers entering the competition. We have now tallied up all of the scores and it is our pleasure to announce the one young 15-year-old spearo has won TWO of the four main categories.
Already one of Australia's best divers, this young gun has represented Australia in spearfishing competitions overseas, holds many junior spearfishing records, and placed fourth OVERALL in last years National Titles, whilst also spearing the BIGGEST ever fish landed in a National Titles competition. It is no surprise to some that this well-known junior spearo is none other than Aaron Puckeridge, son of eight-time Australian spearfishing champion, Ian Puckeridge.CONGRATULATIONS AARON!
Aaron has won an Aimrite Speargun for taking out the Junior category with his Flathead, Bream, Luderick and his wildcard entry of a Cobia.
For winning the Big 5 category with his entry of a Jew Fish, Cobia, Amberjack and Kingfish, Aaron wins a Rob Allen speargun.
