    Spearfishing report from New Zealand

    January 09, 2012 1 min read

Extreme Freedom SharkBlog provided by Kane Grundy from Extreme Freedom in New Zealand

    Hey guys,

Our local dive club headed down to Blackhead this weekend -(Southern Hawkes Bay)

We were greeted with up to 8m vis which was just awesome - as it is very hard to get more than 2m normally.

Water temp was still cool at 16 degrees Celsius but that did not stop the Kingies turning up!

Great mixed bag of Blue cod, Tarakihi, Moki, Kahawai, Kingfish, Paua and crays were brought onto the boat.

Shame that the weather is turning...

Other areas vis reports: Waimarama 5-20m Pourerere 7-8m

    Thank you,

    Kane Grundy
