Join us on a trip of a lifetime to remote reefs within the Coral Sea, as we depart from Gladstone on the beautiful ‘Eastern Voyager’, a purpose-built vessel for Waterman and the like to explore remote reefs of the east coast of Australia!

This 10 night trip consists of at least 6 full days of diving 300+Kms from the mainland,with travel time varying depending on the locations and weather conditions. You have the opportunity to spear pristine clear untouched waters abundant with fish!

Our goal on this trip is to explore reefs around the Saumarez and Fredericks area but like all spearfishing adventures, we are at the mercy of the Spearfishing gods. We will always ensure that we dive the best reefs we can, no matter what the ocean throws at us.

These adventures are best suited to experienced spearos who are competent and comfortable around sharks, currents, boats and large fish species. 

Each morning you will wake up, tucked in behind a coral atoll greeted with gin clear water, when you slip beneath the surface you will be blown away by seemingly endless visibility and a range of fish species.

Throughout the week you will be catered for with an onboard chef, cleaned up after by the crew and fish filleting performed for you after each session. We recommend bringing your own vacuum sealing equipment to ensure the longevity of your prized catches ready for the table for months to come.

You can expect to come back to land with an esky full of beautiful table fish to share with your friends and family but also the memories that will last a lifetime. The Coral Sea is renowned for its abundance of large pelagic fish including Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Dog Tooth Tuna, Marlin, Sailfish and more! 

If you are more interested in reef species you will not be disappointed with beautiful specimens of Maori Sea perch, Buffalo Emperor, Longnose Emperor, Mu and much much more!

From testing your gear and might on monster fish to challenging your inner hunter with the endless reef species encounters, no matter what your goal is, this is a trip of a lifetime!

• Transport to and from Gladstone before and after the trip
• ALL Spearfishing Equipment including weight belt and lead
• Any Line Fishing Equipment
• Alcohol is BYO
• Eskies for taking your catch home. If flying, Airline boxes can be purchased, please advise this service if needed

Mothership: Length:  84, Draft:  10, Beam:  23, Speed:  10 KN

Tenders : 5 x 4.4m outboard tender boats with 30hp outboards, equipped with VHF radios, echo sounder, mandatory safety equipment, anchor, rope, gaff, fish measure, rod holders and a large esky for bait and ice which is supplied
