Mono, Crimps & Muzzle Bungees
These products are the unsung heroes of your speargun as they're responsible for attaching the spear to the gun and more importantly the fish to your gun! Mono: This is the "shooting line" that connects your shaft to your gun. It's lightweight but has a high load capacity, which increases with diameter.
Crimps: Instead of trying to knot or melting your mono to close it off, a crimp offers an easy and more secure option. We recommend investing in some crimping pliers to make the process easy.
Bungees: A bungee cord helps to take the pressure off your rigging when you nail a bigger fish, especially pelagics that like to run like dogtooth tuna or wahoo. The bungee reduces a large jerking motion to a more gradual tug that helps prevent your equipment from failing.
