The new Aimrite Fury Carbon Rollergun is designed to thrive in harsh Australian spearfishing environments and is intended to replace Aimrite's previous models - the Competition and Pro Competition. The 2.8mm barrel is made of 100% carbon fibre, allowing this gun to use a larger 7.5mm South African spring as opposed to the previously used 7.0mm shaft. These guns are especially powerful as a result of the larger shaft and rollergun design, used in conjunction with 16mm USA Latex Rubbers, this gun is able to take down any fish in your sights.
The rollergun design has proven to be an effective design. No tension is lost in the powerbands from the moment the trigger is pulled until the shaft has left the barrel, as the rubbers are pulled around the rollers at the end of the gun where traditional spearguns would begin to lose power after around two-thirds of the gun length. This design gives a high ratio between the power and barrel length, perfect for when you need power for targeting larger fish around reefs or in low visibility.
Each gun has been hand assembled and tested to the high standards of Aimrite to ensure quality, and come "ready to use".
