Cressi have produced a freediving computer that has been specifically designed for every level of free diver.
One of the primary features of this computer is its ability to count down to recovery time. This feature allows you to easily keep track of your time spent underwater and time recovering, which is generally acknowledged to need to be twice the time spent holding your breath. This will mean that you never risk not fully recovering from the previous dive and are able to reach your full potential for each dive.
The beauty of this setting is its adaptability and the simplicity adds to the experience. Set your preferred dive time, and the Cressi Drake Freediving computer will do the rest for you, tracking your time since you're submerged providing you with an alarm once you have reached your preferred time or even your personal best hold. Once you have surfaced, the computer will advise when it is suitable to submerge again.
The interface of the device is large and easy to handle, with a clear LCD and 4-button control allowing the diver to seamlessly navigate through the device's settings whilst still providing the simplicity and aesthetics of an everyday watch when not diving.
Whilst diving, this computer can provide your current and largest depth, water temperature and dive time. Once surfaced the device can show additional information such as total dive and recovery time and the ratio between the two, total dive time and time of day.
Information of up to 500 previous dives can be stored. You can access your history to view your total number of dives, maximum depth and duration.
The elastomer wrist strap provided has the capability to suit a broad range of wrist sizes and can fit over the top of your wettie. The computer itself is crafted from stainless steel and titanium to provide aesthetics which allow you to wear this piece in every-day situations.
This computer is perfect for a diver looking for a device that provides all the necessary features without the algorithms needed for scuba diving.
