A stiletto-blade steel spearfishing knife with double edges: smooth and 'Shark Tooth' serrated. This style of blade is perfect for dispatching a fish, and the double-sided blade gives the knife better capabilities in a wider array of circumstances. The serrated edge is perfect for burleying fish or as an alternative scaling method whilst the straight edge is extremely sharp- perfect for slicing through flesh to dispatch your catch. The hole at the base of the blade allows you to (attempt to) straighten your shaft in the water. The shaft also has a key lock design which is suited to removing shafts stuck in the reef.
The hand has been designed with a standout feature; the rubber sling. This enables you to confidently use the ergonomic shape of the handle and durable blade with a lowered risk of losing the knife as it has been effectively ‘glued’ to your hand.
This smaller style knife is great to take with you when underwater. Designed by Massimo Quattrone, the quality steel knife can be used in a variety of ways.
Tool features include:
- A notch to hold shafts on the handle bars
- A hole to straighten the shafts
- Serrated edge sharpening
- A special 'sling' that goes over your fingers will 'glue' the knife to your hand so to speak, so you won't lose it.
The knife is designed to be attached to your belt.
Note: This knife does not come with leg straps, and is designed to mount on the weight belt
WARNING: Titanium is the only blade on the market that is 100% guaranteed to resist rust. Even the best quality stainless steel will get surface rust. To reduce the accumulation of surface rust, it is recommended that the knife blade be rinsed with fresh water after each use and is dried immediately afterwards, to prevent the any yellow 'water spots' from forming on the blade surface. To prevent water spots from occurring apply anti-rusting agent to the knife blade after each use. DO NOT TRY TO REMOVE 'WATER SPOTS' BY GRINDING, USE A PURPOSE DESIGNED CALCIUM LIME REMOVER (C.L.R).
